The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires community water systems, such as Davidson Water, to make an annual drinking water quality report available to their customers. These reports are called "Consumer Confidence Reports".

The Consumer Confidence Report was developed by the EPA after consulting with water suppliers, environmental groups, and state legislators, and provides customers with factual information regarding the quality of the water provided by their water system. Each report covers water treated during the previous year.
