To better serve our community and provide clearer information, we have transitioned from our traditional postcard bills to a standard, letter-sized statement.
Depending on your billing cycle, you will see this new format arrive in your mailbox over the next few weeks.
Standard Letter Format: No more cramped postcards. The new letter-sized layout is clean, easy to read, and provides a comprehensive breakdown of your usage history, current rates, and overall account status.
Consolidated Service Contacts: If applicable, your new statement now lists specific contact information for additional billing charges right on the page, such as city sewer and garbage collection services.
Your Membership ID: While you will keep your same permanent Account Number, your bill now highlights a unique Membership ID. As we upgrade our internal systems, this Membership ID will become the primary number you use to make payments. This number will be highlighted in yellow, so that it's easy to find.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Did my account number change?:
A: No. Your Account Number remains the same for our internal records, but you should use the new Membership ID listed on the bill to help process payments moving forward.
Q: Why haven't I received the new bill yet?:
A: We mail statements in staggered cycles throughout the month. If your know someone who has the new format and you haven't, your cycle is likely scheduled for a later mailing.
Q: Need Help?:
A: If you have questions about your new statement layout, please contact our Member Services team at 336-731-2341.
Looking Ahead: The New Payment Portal
The new bill design is phase one of our commitment to improving the member experience. By the time you receive your second letter-sized bill, our new online payment portal should be live. This upgrade will offer expanded payment options to give you more flexibility.
