In reviewing documents in preparation for the annual meeting scheduled and noticed for March 13, 2023, it was discovered that there were a very small number of members who may not have received adequate notification of the annual meeting.

The inadvertent error only affected a small number of members who receive their bills by email. We do know that notice was received by most of these because an appreciable number of members paying their bill online saw the notice and submitted a proxy online, but we cannot be certain as to the exact number who may not have received their notice electronically.

In an effort to ensure adequate notice to all members, a motion was made and unanimously approved by all members in attendance and represented by proxy at the March 13, 2023 scheduled annual meeting to adjourn the annual meeting until Monday, May 8, 2023 at 7:30 pm at 7040 Old U.S. Highway 52, Lexington, NC 27295 so that all members can be notified of the adjourned date.

If you submitted a proxy for the annual meeting, that will remain valid through the date of the adjourned meeting. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may cause.
