Why Is Early TLS Support Being Dropped?

Due to increasing security concerns, we routinely have to examine what methods of encryption are available when you communicate with our website. This is called PCI Compliance, and it establishes guidelines that help protect confidential data, such as your credit card number.

As of June 25th 2018, we will be disabling support for early TLS encryption methods. This may affect certain users, if they are using older computers and outdated web browsers. If this affects you, it will simply look like our site is unavailable. If this happens, it is because your computer, or web browser, is not capable of using modern encryption methods. Therefore, our web server will refuse the connection.

To prevent this, you should make sure that your computer, and web browser, are compliant with current PCI standards. Please note that you have to use both a compliant Operating System, as well as a compliant web browser.

We understand that this may be an inconvenience, but these steps are necessary to protect our customers.
